The database maintenance operation caused a larger than anticipated impact on our collection system. All metric data between 3:00 AM and 4:12 AM UTC was lost. We sincerely apologize about the unintended loss of customer data. Our engineering and infrastructure teams are working to determine the root cause. We will post a root cause and remediation steps to prevent a reoccurence of the issue as we make progress analyzing the incident.
